I read that you offer eyebrow extensions-what’s the deal with that? How does it work, what’s the cost, how long do they last? My brows are sparse and I use a pencil and tinted gel, but I’m thinking extensions would be a lot less work. I have a newborn at home, so the more I can do to make my morning routine easier (without looking like something the cat dragged in) the better! thank you… – Melissa

The newest service at completely bare is our eyebrow extensions, called the Barshop Brow. It’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever done- it takes ten years off your face!! First, our brow specialist dyes real human hair to match your own. Then, after working with you to come up with a brow shape you love, she attaches the hair to your own eyebrows, rendering brow pencils and shadows obsolete! It will definitely save you precious time, espically with a newborn at home. The extensions last about two weeks, and the cost is $185 and touch-ups are $45.

I was walking to the new completely bare location on Bond St. when I passed the Darrel K boutique. In the window were these amazing pair of black leather leggings. Yes, I said leather leggings. They were incredible. I immediately ran in and scooped them up. Before running into the dressing room, I questioned my judgement.

Can I really pull off leather leggings? As I slipped my legs in and pulled up, I was blown away by my reflection in the mirror. They hid everything that was evil and bad, and showed only what was good and skinny. Dress them up or dress them down, they go with everything. I’m thinking boho rocker chic: loose white tank with a big brightly colored scarf and a serious pair of gladiator sandals. How would you guys wear them?

To some, the end of summer is realized by Labor day weekend or by the sighting of school busses.  To me, it’s fashion week.  Every August, I know summer is coming to a close when I walk by Bryant Park and see the tents being built.  I know that in a few short weeks there will be a frenzy of models, designers and socialites zipping in to see, ironically, what will be hot next summer.

At completely bare, we are busy with calls from editors and models desperate to be smooth and hairless.  It is my favorite time of year.  I know fall is coming, with its crisp days, and golden leaves. The lazy days of summer are over.  So as I prepare for a seemingly endless week of parties and fashion shows, there is one thing troubling me.  How do we fashionistas dress at this time of the year?

The temperatures are still in the scorching 90s, but the calendar says September.  I’m desperate to wear all the new fall fashions I see in the store windows, but its still so hot out.  Do you guys have any advice for me?
